Unify Analog Trunk Module – TMANI (L30251-U600-A598) 

The Unify Analog Trunk Module – TMANI (L30251-U600-A598) is also known by the alternative code: S30810-Q2327-X.

The Unify Analog Trunk Module (TMANI) is compatible with OpenScape Business X8 and HiPath 3800. Features include 8 trunk circuits for analog exchange/central office connections, with CLIP, 12/16 kHz metering and line reversal detection. No on-board PFT relay (ALUM).

The SLMA (Station Line Module Analog) board is the interface between the analog stations and the SLMAC24 Card for HiPath 3800. One board contains the trunk for 24 station lines. Each of these trunks contains the required feed, ringing and indication circuitry. The front panel of the board contains an LED, which lights whenever a circuit is busy.

The DIUS2 (Digital Interface Unit ISDN) implements two S2 primary rate access (PRA) interfaces in the Hicom 300 system according to CCITT:

• Receive path for PRAs 0 and 1. Transmission rate: 2048 kbit/s, coding: HDB3
• Send path for PRAs 0 and 1. Transmission rate: 2048 kbit/s, coding: HDB3.
• Signalling comprises 30 B-channels, 1 D-channel and 1 synchronization channel per path

The digital DIUS2 board is used for connections to public ISDN networks and for networking Hicom systems.

Interface:
The DIUS2 (S2 interface for 4-wire line) is installed in the LTU in a peripheral board slot with an uneven number, since the slot immediately adjacent to it is also used.

S2M = Exchange trunk connection Da2M = digital tie-line (public network) S2 = digital tie-line (private networks) for connection to HOST, SERVER, GATEWAY.

For failure protection reasons, the two links on the same board should not be routed to the same partner. The range is 6 dB (approx. 240 m).

The transmission bandwidth is 2 x 2048 kbit/s (2 HWYs). Each HWY consists of 30 user channels (B-channels), one signalling channel (D-channel) and one synchronization channel with 64 kbit/s each.

Integrity counters maintain statistics for layer 2 protocols on the S0/S2 interface. The statistical data can be interrogated via AMO BSSU.

The DIUS2 processes the signalling data (s-data) of the D-channel. The DIUS2 provides a reference clock for the clock generator; this clock is obtained from one of the two link signals. For this purpose, the reference clock table must be assigned according to the network topology (AMO REFTA).

Provides 8 additional digital extensions for the connection of Siemens Optiset or optiPoint digital phones on the following systems.
